One issue with shooting video on a DSLR is stability. The camera’s body is designed for still photography, which makes handheld shooting very tough. There are options such as the Steadicam Merlin but it starts at $800 and for most indie filmmakers that’s a ton of money. There are also many cheap options but most unfortunately can’t support the weight of a DSLR. But we have come up with a solution, the SteadyDSLR!
